In the early 90s, Tomé Serpa is the most charismatic and ambitious architect in Portugal. Tomé lives between professional success and a secret life of sexual relations filmed without the consent of the participants. Despite being married, he maintains a relationship with Carolina, an actress who believes to be his only lover and that Tomé will end his marriage to be with her. After discovering the truth about her beloved, she allies herself with Elsa, Tomé’s secretary, to take revenge and unmask him before the inauguration of her great project, a modern shopping mall.

This period fiction, inspired by public and notorious events that occurred in Portuguese society in the 1980s and 1990s, combines social critique, abuse of power, emotional manipulation, and female resistance, with the growing tension surrounding the project’s outcome and Tomé Serpa’s imminent downfall.
